Vast Imaginations (Eli Kline & Yehudi Fleising) – Musical Collaborators and Composers (various)
Eli Kline and Yehudi Fleising have been close friends since childhood, sharing a common passion for music. Yehudi went on from high school to pursue a diploma in jazz studies at Mount Royal College, while Eli studied audio engineering at the Stylus School of Music and Sound Design in Vancouver, B.C. Upon completion, the two started a live hip-hop group called Vast Imaginations. The band quickly developed a strong following, playing regularly in Calgary, Banff, and the surrounding areas. Eli’s production company, Sovereign Soul Productions, recorded and mixed the group’s first album. A year after the band recorded this album, its members decided to pursue their own musical interests individually. Eli left Canada to follow his passion for traveling, while Yehudi joined a rock band called Friends of Otis. After a few years and upon Eli’s return to Canada, the two friends joined forces once again. Currently producing songs in the Sovereign Soul recording studio, Eli and Yehudi combine elements of hip-hop, dancehall, reggae, and electronica to create unique musical score engineered to fuel a dance floor.
